Pride Frisco founders announce move to NYC

Jon and Justin Culpepper, founders of Pride in Frisco, this week announced that Jon has accepted a new job as chief information officer with the national offices of the American Civil Liberties Union, and that the couple will be moving to New York City by the end of this month.

“It is an opportunity of a lifetime that unites my skills, talents and passions to remain in the movement and directly support those on the frontlines to fight for and defend our collective freedoms and civil rights at the most consequential level,” Jon Culpepper wrote in an email announcing the move.

For Pride Frisco, Jon said, this move means “scaled back operations as we settle into our new life and as I adjust to an expanded scope of responsibilities, after which we will evaluate the most impact ways Pride Frisco can support the LGBTQIA+ communities of Frisco and North Texas.”…
