Vacant business burns after accidental fire in Dallas, officials say

DALLAS — A vacant Dallas business caught fire by accident on Saturday afternoon, and around 40 firefighters worked to put it out, Dallas Fire-Rescue confirmed.

According to DFR officials, the department responded to a call at 4222 W. Camp Wisdom Road around 12:30 p.m. DFR said responding crews reported heavy smoke and fire coming out of the one-story business.

Since the fire was in advanced stages near a strip with other businesses, the department called for a two-alarm response, DFR said, prompting around 40 firefighters to respond…
