FANNIN COUNTY, Texas (KXII) – The Dallas County District Attorney’s Office will now handle the prosecution of six people, including former Fannin County Judge Creta “Spanky” Carter, who were all indicted on felony theft charges in January.
The Fannin County District Attorney’s Office asked to be recused from the case due to a conflict of interest.
