DALLAS — Storm damage was reported across North Texas Tuesday morning as severe storms moved through the Metroplex. Strong winds damaged buildings, overturned RVs and tipped over 18-wheelers on roadways.
The damage was widespread across North Texas. Officials said that several people sustained minor injuries due to damage caused by the storm.. WFAA reporters fanned out across the Metroplex to capture the damage.
Plano West High School roof damaged, classes resume
At Plano West High School in Plano, a portion of the school’s roof was torn off the school’s athletics building. Coaches found the damage when they arrived at the school Tuesday morning. Debris was also scattered around the school’s parking lot.
Damage to the roof also caused flooding in the school’s sports facilities, delaying practices. No classrooms were damaged, according to Plano police. Classes will continue Tuesday despite the damage, the district said. However, the district said it expects transportation delays…
