MCKINNEY, Texas — A new video shows the tragic moment a McKinney 14-year-old was hit and killed by a vehicle in late December 2024. Jamir Dabney was struck and killed while biking home with two friends. The incident was initially described as a hit-and-run but later considered accidental.
The surveillance video, that WFAA obtained through a public records request, captures images from the evening of Dec. 21 in the area of Lake Forest and Highlands Drive in McKinney. The video is not entirely clear as the location is obscured and the incident occurred late in the evening.
