Frisco police investigate bullet that struck elementary school

FRISCO, Texas — A bullet shattered a classroom window at Hosp Elementary School, prompting an investigation by the Frisco Police Department. The incident occurred on Thursday morning, March 27, 2025, with no reported injuries.

At approximately 9:28 a.m., a Frisco Police Officer from the School Resource Officer Unit responded to the scene at 5050 Lone Star Ranch Parkway, where fragments believed to be from a bullet were discovered, according to a press release from the Frisco Police Department. Students were dismissed early as a precautionary measure.

Frisco detectives have determined the source of the bullet and believe the act was unintentional.
