Texas Senate passes bill requiring child’s father to pay retroactive child support from conception date

AUSTIN, Texas (KLTV) – Members of the Texas Senate passed a bill Wednesday that would require a child’s father to pay retroactive child support beginning from the baby’s conception date.

SB 942, presented by Sen. Bryan Hughes, (R-Mineola) passed the Senate with a vote of 27-4, following several questions and discussions.
