A representative from the North Texas Municipal Water District (NTMWD) told the Frisco City Council that work to expand the Panther Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant will cost more than $170 million.
Mark Simon, NTMWD’s director of engineering, said during council’s April 6 work session the district recommends moving forward with the bid from Crossland Construction for $170,618,000. He added the total bond sale will be $205.2 million, once additional construction costs and contingency fees are factored in.
