Country music fans were treated to a stellar lineup of free performances Tuesday night as the Academy of Country Music Awards Country Kickoff event transformed Tostitos Plaza outside the Ford Center at The Star into a honky-tonk heaven.
The event marked the first of a two-night celebration preceding Thursday’s main event — the 60th ACM Awards . This year marks the third consecutive time Frisco will host country music’s star-studded ceremony at the Ford Center.
Tuesday’s kickoff featured a packed schedule of up-and-coming artists and established performers. Tucker Wetmore closed out the night with a high-energy set from, following the Josh Abbott Band’s performance in it home state of Texas.
