Heads up, drivers: the North Texas Tollway Authority has announced some road closures that could impact your commute. Starting tonight and continuing until tomorrow, the northbound Dallas North Tollway (DNT) exit ramp to Eldorado Parkway will be out of commission, with closures beginning at 7 p.m. and reopening at 5 a.m. each following day, according to a release from the City of Frisco.
It’s not just the overnight hours that will see interruptions; daytime drivers should also expect intermittent lane closures on the DNT from May 12 through Saturday, May 17. If not planned for, this will be a week of potential delays and detours. The reason behind the inconvenience is a widening project aimed at improving traffic flow in the future.
