Carrollton SRO on leave amid improper relationship investigation

The Carrollton Police Department placed a school resource officer on administrative leave pending the investigation of an alleged improper relationship.

Carrollton police report that on May 8, it received a complaint of an improper relationship between a school resource officer and a 17-year-old student allegedly occurring in 2008. As a result, Carrollton police has placed Officer Forest Cole Langston on administrative leave.

Langston is currently assigned as a school resource officer in the Lewisville Independent School District. However, the complaint was received from a former student of a different school district. It is believed the allegations of improper relationship do not involve any misconduct occurring on any school property…
