The Allen High School Band has been selected to participate in the 2026 Tournament of Roses Parade, making it the only Texas school among 14 bands.
The band submitted its application in fall 2023, completed requirements by May 2024 and received notification of acceptance in September 2024 — a two-year process that required extensive documentation and preparation, according to Band Director Philip Obado.
