At the City of Denton Animal Shelter, in Denton, Texas, it was a sad day when a sweet Labrador retriever mix named Floyd arrived. The dog’s owner had just recently died, and the man’s family didn’t want the responsibility of taking care of the man’s dog. Sadly, it happens much too often.
