Two migrants have been arrested for fatally colliding their jet ski with an 18-year-old kayaker who was a Texas Air Force recruit.
Following the incident on Grapevine Lake this Sunday, Grapevine police and the Texas Game Wardens confirmed the arrest of Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez Gonzalez, one of the two migrants, on May 27. The arrest was in connection with the death of an Air Force Academy cadet, Ava Renee Moore.
According to an arrest affidavit, Gonzalez is charged with second-degree felony manslaughter, reckless operation, excessive speed, and leaving the scene of a fatal accident. While a bond was not set, a bond of $500,000 was suggested in the affidavit. It is unclear if Gonzalez has an attorney to speak on her behalf yet…
