CORSICANA, Texas – A shooting over Memorial Day weekend at a home in Corsicana nearly took the life of a teenager and her unborn child. The expectant mom is hospitalized in Dallas and her family is pleading for anyone with information to contact the police.

Malaina Gonzales’ mother, Gaberial Gonzales, tells FOX 4’s Alex Boyer that her daughter remains in the ICU and is slowly improving as the bullet barely missed her baby.
