DENTON, Texas (TCN) — Police recently arrested a 52-year-old man on suspicion of fatally shooting his fiancée and cleaning blood evidence.
On May 19, the Denton Police Department responded to an apartment on Par Drive to what KDFW-TV says was a reported “foul smell.” At the scene, officers located 39-year-old LaVera Wardell deceased.
Wardell reportedly lived with her fiancé, William Oddo III. Per an arrest document reviewed by KDFW, officials determined Oddo purchased cleaning supplies a week after Wardell’s death and cleaned blood evidence on the walls and floor…
