GIBSLAND, La. (KSLA) – A woman from Texas is dead after a weekend crash in Bienville Parish, Louisiana State Police reports.
On Sunday, June 15 around 5 p.m., troopers with LSP went out to wreck involving two cars on I-20 near Highway 154. As a result of the crash, Lauren Carkeet, 32, of Lewisville, Texas, was killed.
Preliminary details from LSP show a 29-year-old man from Prosper, Texas was driving a 2010 GMC Acadia west on I-20, when for reasons still under investigation, he ran off the road and hit a parked 18-wheeler with someone inside…
