On June 22, 2025, at about 1:55 a.m., Dallas Police responded to a shooting call in the 3100 block of Dusty Oak Drive. The preliminary investigation determined that two people were shot at the location. One died at the scene, and their identity is not being released pending next of kin notification. Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the second person to the hospital in stable condition, who has since been released. This ongoing investigation is documented under case number 088562-2025.
