ECTOR COUNTY, Texas — Another fatal crash occurred at the intersection of State Highway 302 and Farm-to-Market Road 181 on Tuesday. A Frisco man died in a crash at the same intersection on Sunday.
Preliminary information from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) revealed that 51-year-old Jose Reyes Pena, of Odessa, driving a 2020 Kenworth with a trailer, was going southbound on FM 181. Pena failed to yield the right-of-way at the intersection of SH 302.
Ricky Dale Shaw, 56, of Odessa, driving a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado, was going westbound on SH 302 and struck Pena. Shaw died at the scene, according to DPS. Pena was taken to Medical Center Hospital in Odessa with minor injuries…
