North Texas plaza with H-E-B, Buc-ee’s is a ‘Texas dream’ destination

Any day is a good day if it involves a trip to Buc-ee’s or H-E-B, but a joint venture? Well, that’s been dubbed “the Texas dream” — and it’s a reality at a North Texas shopping plaza.

TikToker @txstormwatcher shared a video on June 29 in Melissa, a Collin County suburb located within the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. Overlaying footage with the phrase, “explain the Texas dream in one video,” the user pans across the shopping center comprising an H-E-B — including a True Texas BBQ — Buc-ee’s and a Taco Casa fast food restaurant. Viewed nearly 64,000 times, the video has spurred adoration from fellow Texans, who bow to the Butt family and the Beavs.
