KFC gets nasty with the competition with ‘Comeback Era’ offerings, including free chicken

PLANO, Texas (WKRC) — Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) has launched its “Comeback Era” to win back customers amid the growing popularity of chicken-based menu items.

In a press release, KFC announced it is making a bold move to reclaim its place in the fried chicken market with a new digital offer aimed at winning back chicken lovers.

As part of the “Comeback Era” campaign, KFC is offering a “Free Bucket On Us” promotion available on KFC.com and the KFC app. Customers can choose between the following:

  • A free eight-piece bucket of chicken
  • Free tenders
