Sergeant Brandon Polk of the Collin County Sheriff’s Office in McKinney, Texas, has been awarded the prestigious 2025 DA Greg Willis SuperSleuth Award. This accolade is the highest of its kind for investigative excellence in the region.
The collar that earned Sgt. Polk, this honor involved a case that began when a mother discovered deeply troubling messages between her husband and their daughter. But Sgt. Polk dove deeper than the surface evidence. According to the Facebook post by Collin County DA’s office, he conducted interviews with each child in the home, meticulously extracted and analyzed cellular data, revealing that the defendant had been manipulating the victim through catfishing, posing as someone else online.
