McKinney officials arrested three people in a fraud scheme that affected at least 75 elderly Texas residents, including several in North Texas. The suspects, Christian Bolding, 31, Eric Ell, 23, and Prakash Krishnaraj, 58, approached their victims at retail stores and offered to help them lower their utility bills. Instead, they were allegedly collecting digital signatures for loans. The suspects pocketed about $1.5 million while the victims were left making long-term loan payments.
