Asphalt overlay along McDermott Drive between Watters Road and Allen Drive is scheduled for completion by the end of August.
The city will fund the project through a combination of engineering department funds and Capital Improvement Program savings. While new to Allen, the overlay method has proven successful in Plano, according to Engineering Director Chris Flanigan.
