PLANO, Texas — A bat discovered near a Plano apartment complex has tested positive for rabies, city officials confirmed Wednesday.
The bat was found on August 14 near a pool in the 5000 block of Whitestone Lane. While there were no reports of contact with people or pets, Animal Services sent the bat for testing due to its unusual behavior.
