Woman on Meth Arrested After High-Speed Chase and Crashing into House in Irving

IRVING, Texas—A woman is facing numerous felony charges after a police chase that ended with her crashing her box truck into the front of a house.

In the early morning hours of Thursday, August 28, an Irving Police officer attempted to stop a box truck driving without headlights. The driver pulled over and identified herself 20-year-old Sierra Rodgers. The officer detected the strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. When he asked Rodgers to step out of the vehicle, she put the truck in drive and fled at a high rate of speed.

During the pursuit, Rodgers lost control of her vehicle and crashed into the front of a house at 603 English St., causing several thousand dollars in damage to the pillars and porch. She did not stop to provide information to the homeowner…
