The Plano Balloon Festival is almost here, and North Texans are ready for four days of hot air balloons, fireworks, live music and family fun. But before you make plans, organizers are warning festivalgoers about ticket scams.
Scam Alert: Buy Only From Official Sources
Plano Balloon Festival, Inc. issued a reminder that tickets are sold only through their official website, www.planoballoonfest.org, or directly at the gate during festival hours.
Unauthorized third-party vendors are not approved to sell tickets online. Buying from them could mean paying inflated prices or, worse, ending up with tickets that aren’t valid. Organizers stress that they cannot guarantee the legitimacy of tickets purchased anywhere but the official source.
Four Days Of Balloon Magic
From Sept. 18–21, Oak Point Park will transform into a sea of color as dozens of balloons lift off at sunrise and glow like lanterns after sunset. Each day is packed with entertainment and activities for all ages:
- Sunrise launches for the early risers
- Evening balloon glows for night owls
- Fireworks shows each evening
- Live music including the Plano Symphony Orchestra, Midtown 10, ICE House Band and the Plano Community Band
- Skydiving exhibitions from the RE/MAX team
Family Fun On The Ground
The excitement isn’t limited to the skies. Families can explore the Central Market Kids Fun Zone, complete with inflatables, rides, slides and the Whataburger Kids Korner art tent.
Local vendors will line the park with handmade crafts, art and gifts, while BMW of Plano will be on-site offering guests the chance to test out their latest models…
