IRVING, TX – A 20-year-old man is behind bars after police say he crashed a Chrysler 300 while intoxicated, threatened passengers with a handgun, and violated probation on prior convictions.
On September 2, around 11:28 p.m., Irving Officer Hudson responded to a crash in the 2700 block of Finley Road, where a Chrysler 300 had struck a light pole and fence. The driver, identified as Allone Devaul Williams, was found outside the vehicle. Officers noted Williams had bloodshot eyes, smelled strongly of alcohol, and appeared argumentative, unsteady, and sick—at one point vomiting outside the police cruiser.
Three passengers identified Williams as the driver. They told officers that before the crash, Williams drove erratically, threatened them with a handgun, and swerved intentionally. According to the passengers, Williams placed a handgun on the center console when they asked to get out, telling them he would crash the vehicle if anyone tried to leave.
