Dallas and Barry Police Crack Down on Multi-City Auto Theft Ring, Recover Stolen Vehicles and Arrest Two

The Dallas Police Department, alongside several law enforcement agencies, has effectively dismantled an auto theft operation that spanned across multiple jurisdictions in North Texas. On August 28, multiple search warrants were executed in Dallas and the town of Barry, resulting in the recovery of stolen vehicles and the arrest of two suspects.

According to a report released by the Dallas Police Department, officers from the Auto Theft Salvage Squad, Southwest and South Central CRT Units, and the North Texas Auto Theft Task Force collaborated in the operation. They found four vehicles in Dallas and another three in Barry that had been reported stolen in Dallas, De Soto, and Lewisville.
