Man’s ‘unusual behavior’ at McKinney Islamic center investigated

The McKinney Police Department said they’re investigating reports of a man showing “unusual behavior at a religious institution” earlier this week.

A spokesperson for the Sufaraa Center told NBC 5 that an unknown man rang the doorbell and walked inside without permission. The man then began questioning people inside, asking about who they were, while making several “inappropriate comments,” including, “There should be no mosques in the USA.”

“He was not happy about the place. He might have had some misunderstanding, and as I said, ‘May God show him the right path,'” explained Haroon Siddiqui, the center’s chairman…
