Frisco City Council members voiced support for a proposed plan that would bring an animal facility to the city through a public-private partnership.
During the Oct. 7 work session, council members reviewed plans for an 18,987-square-foot, two-story facility at the intersection of PGA Parkway and Executive Drive.
Ken Schmidt, director of special projects, said the building would be constructed on 4.05 acres of land owned by the Frisco Community Development Corporation, near the future Balcones Recycling facility and North Texas Municipal Water District’s solid waste transfer station…
