COLLIN COUNTY, Texas – Former Plano private school teacher Jacob Thomas Allred, 34, of Blue Ridge, TX, pleaded guilty to multiple felony charges and was sentenced to the maximum 20 years in prison on each count.
Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis announced that Allred, a former teacher at Great Lakes Academy, pled guilty to one count of Improper Relationship Between Educator and Student and two counts of Sexual Performance of a Child. Judge Angela Tucker handed down the 20-year maximum sentence for each charge, which Allred will serve concurrently. He will also be required to register as a sex offender for life.
Case Details
The investigation revealed that Allred began a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old female student, primarily through explicit and inappropriate messages sent over the Discord app. The sexual performance charges stem from Allred directing the minor to engage in lewd acts.
