Texas Firefighter Granted Respite from Cancer Battle through “Getaway from Cancer” Program

The Frisco Fire Department shared on their social media that Captain Phil Forbus, a member of their ranks, was selected by Michael’s Memories, a non-profit organization, to take part in their “Getaway from Cancer” program. Forbus, who has devoted years to firefighting and service, will now have the opportunity to temporarily lay down his burdens and savor precious moments with his loved ones.
