LUCAS, Texas — Deputies from the Collin County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a large juvenile gathering on Mark Drive in Lucas on Saturday night following reports of disturbances and possible gunfire. The incident, which occurred around 10:00 p.m., involved noise complaints, potential underage drinking, and individuals trespassing on neighboring properties.
As deputies arrived, additional 911 calls reported gunfire from a vehicle that fled the scene, according to a press release from the Collin County Sheriff’s Office. Witnesses described seeing an unidentified person carrying what appeared to be a long firearm through a nearby yard.
