On Lebanon and Dallas Parkway, construction crews are hard at work. They are working on building a new Whole Foods!
The Whole Foods will be a part of the Mix, a 3-billion dollar mixed use space. Tim Campbell, the head of development, said it will be a “unique destination for new jobs, new experiences and new homes for the people of Frisco,” in a quote to Community Impact. They plan to include European architecture, walking paths, and greenery to create a pleasant, unique space. The Mix began construction in January 2025 and will eventually span 112 acres. It will be home to a park, restaurants, hotels, as well as retail stores, offices, and residential space.
The Whole Foods announcement was met with support from Frisco residents. “I would like to visit Whole Foods, especially to buy organic game day apples,” said sophomore Eden Esquenazi. Their products focus on local options and have strict ingredient standards, excluding over 500 ingredients such as artificial dyes, preservatives, and GMOs.
