LITTLE ELM, Texas — Cancer, and its treatments, have side effects — often difficult side effects. But for Shana Squyres, she hopes a side effect from her cancer fight will end up helping other “warrioresses” just like herself.
“None of it’s been easy,” Squyres said from her home in Little Elm, where she shared her triple negative breast cancer diagnosis and the torturous journey that included three surgeries, six months of chemotherapy, a month of radiation and six months of immunotherapy.
