Collin County drivers now have a new option for getting around the northwest corridor with the official opening of Segment 3C of the Collin County Outer Loop on Nov. 7, 2025.
The $62.7 million project, funded through the county’s 2018 bond program, marks a significant milestone in the region’s long-term transportation plan, offering improved connectivity, reduced travel times and a foundation for future growth across one of North Texas’ fastest-growing areas.
A Critical East–West Link
Segment 3C connects the Dallas North Tollway to U.S. Highway 75, providing a vital east–west corridor designed to ease congestion on other major roadways. The new roadway also aims to support economic development and improve overall connectivity the region.
