PRINCETON, Texas — The city of Princeton is navigating another major change in leadership after City Manager Michael Mashburn abruptly resigned Monday night, just minutes before the city council meeting began according to the mayor.
Mayor Eugene Escobar Jr. confirmed the council unanimously accepted Mashburn’s voluntary resignation. Escobar said the letter did not say why he was leaving the role.
