Lieutenant Suzanne Reed of the Flower Mound Police Department passed away on Saturday, Jan. 3, following a medical emergency while off duty.
According to a release from the Flower Mound Police Department, Reed began serving the community in 2006. Throughout her career, she held numerous roles including patrol officer, marine safety enforcement officer, mental health peace officer, police training officer, negotiator team leader, crime analyst, detective, patrol sergeant and patrol lieutenant.
