FRISCO, Texas — A man is in custody following an aggravated assault at the Islamic Center of Frisco, where a security guard was attacked with a machete, according to the Frisco Police Department.
On June 7, 2025, at approximately 10:58 p.m., Frisco police officers responded to the Islamic Center of Frisco, located at 11137 Frisco Street, after receiving reports of a stabbing. The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Malik Davis, was quickly detained by officers on the scene. The victim, a uniformed security guard at the mosque, was praying inside when Davis allegedly attacked him from behind with a machete.
