A North Texas reality couple who were featured on Family or Fiancé were convicted Friday in connection with a multi-million dollar pyramid scheme that defrauded thousands.
Marlon and LaShonda Moore of Frisco were found guilty of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, five counts of wire fraud, and three counts of money laundering after a four-day trial at the federal courthouse in Sherman. According to prosecutors, the Moores defrauded more than 10,000 people during the COVID-19 pandemic, taking in more than $25 million.
The couple faces up to 20 years in prison on each of the conspiracy and wire fraud charges and 10 years on each money laundering count…
