DALLAS (KDAF) — Alan’s Factory Outlet conducted a study analyzing how weather impacts vehicles parked outdoors, revealing that Houston, Texas, ranks as the 9th worst city for outdoor parking. The study examined climate data from 200 major U.S. cities and included a survey of 1,006 car owners.
The study highlights that a total of 24 Texas cities are among the worst locations for outdoor parking due to weather-related vehicle depreciation risks. Car owners reported spending an average of $585 per incident on weather-related repairs, with nearly one in four respondents indicating they spent over $1,000.
