Frisco’s culinary landscape is about to get a major upgrade. Slice House, the fast-casual pizza concept from 13-time World Pizza Champion Tony Gemignani, is preparing to open its first Texas location at 5995 Preston Road on Jan. 24, 2026.
A Pizza Legend Comes to North Texas
Tony Gemignani isn’t just lending his name; he’s a global authority in pizza-making. The first non-Neapolitan to win the prestigious World Pizza Cup in Naples, Italy, Gemignani also holds multiple Guinness World Records, runs acclaimed restaurants including Tony’s Pizza Napoletana and Slice House, and authored The Pizza Bible. He founded the International School of Pizza, training chefs in both traditional and contemporary techniques.
“Opening our first Texas location in the heart of Frisco is a huge milestone for Slice House,” Gemignani said. “With the dedication of our brand partner, Daniel Hawkins, we look forward to becoming part of the local community and sharing our signature menu and Slice House craft as we expand into the South.”
