Irving Police Arrest Husband Accused of Strangling Wife During Dispute

IRVING, Texas – Irving police arrested a 25-year-old man following a reported domestic assault at an apartment complex in North Irving late last month, authorities said.

Officers with the Irving Police Department were dispatched around 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 27, 2026, to the Maxton West Apartments in the 3200 block of West Walnut Hill Lane after receiving a call about a domestic disturbance at a second-floor unit.

According to police, officers spoke with the victim, a 28-year-old woman, who reported that her husband, Andres Rojo-Loreto, strangled her during an argument.
