The Monday, Feb. 3, Murphy City Council meeting lasted more than two hours, with staff setting out snacks and water bottles for the crowd. To accommodate residents who had signed up to speak, Mayor Scott Bradley moved public comments to the end of the meeting and councilmembers quickly approved seven consent agenda items.
Residents came to address comments made at Jan. 20 meeting, many of which raised questions and concerns about the Center for Islamic Knowledge on North Murphy Road.
