DALLAS — A 24-year-old man attempted to rob a Dallas tattoo artist before fatally shooting him, according to an arrest affidavit.
The affidavit details the Jan. 6 incident in which police say they responded to a shooting call at Legendary Ink, a tattoo shop in Cedar Crest, where they found Just Smith-Gibbs suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, WFAA previously reported. Smith-Gibbs, 27, was taken to a hospital where he died, Dallas police said.
Police later identified a suspect in the shooting, Kenneth Brown Jr. and asked for the public’s help finding him. He was arrested Feb. 9 and charged with capital murder, the Dallas Police Department said in a press release…
