Scarborough Renaissance Festival: The Legendary 16th-Century Village Returns This April Right Outside DFW

Hear ye, hear ye. The Waxahachie, Texas’ signature Scarborough Renaissance Festival returns this April for its 45th anniversary. For eight weekends starting April 4, the festival will feature a full-scale immersive English village filled with performances, rides, a bustling market of food, drinks, and artisans as well as era-appropriate entertainment.

When is the Scarborough Renaissance Festival 2026?

The 2026 Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie takes place on Saturdays and Sundays from April 4 through May 24. A festival will close out its 2026 run with a special celebration on Memorial Day, May 25.
