After welcoming the audience to his artist’s talk at the Latino Cultural Center on the evening of February 17, Victor Quiñonez, who uses the artist name Marka27, asked the room a question. “If you love or ever loved anybody that was not born in this country, can you please raise your hand?”
Every hand in the auditorium went up.
“That’s what this exhibition is about,” said the Booker T. Washington alum, gesturing toward the image projected behind him. “That’s what that pyramid is about.”…
