U.S. Highway 380, a major east-west highway running from Greenville west through McKinney and Denton, reached functional completion in Denton County after a multi-year renovation project, Texas State Rep. Jared Patterson said.
Spanning Denton and Collin counties, U.S. Highway 380 was selected for a five-segment construction project in 2019 to significantly increase the flow of traffic despite continued growth in the area.
Started in January 2022, Texas Department of Transportation documents state the project widened the roadway from four to six lanes with grade separations at five major intersections across the Prosper and Frisco areas, continuing through McKinney, Fairview, Princeton and Farmersville…
