Gunfire on a quiet Lewisville block yesterday left one woman dead and rattled a north-side neighborhood, after officers found an adult female shot on the 300 block of Wyndale Drive. Police secured the area and emergency crews pronounced the victim dead at the scene, while neighbors reported a heavy law enforcement presence and investigators stayed into the night trying to piece together what happened.
